It has been awhile since I have blessed yall with my writing abilities (lol) and I do apologize about that. HOWEVAAAA, I have some exciting news to share!
If you follow me on any of my social media platforms then you may already be aware but (insert drum roll pleaseeee)...ya girl was featured in an article on Voyage Phoenix Magazine.
For those that may not have heard of Voyage Magazine before it is an online platform that fosters collaboration and support for small businesses, independent artists and entrepreneurs, and local institutions that are located in a certain city or location. They're in multiple cities which include but are not limited to LA, Dallas, and MIA.
I love a little backstory, so here it goes.
Someone on their editorial team contacted me via email about an interview. Originally, I thought it was an interview to become an editor for the magazine. I was confused like why don't I know more about the position before I answer some questions? Etc. Etc. It seemed that there was a miss in the communication so I just stopped replying but then they reached out again.
Guess what?! I interpreted the email all wrong (SMH). Once I figured out what was happening I was super siked and the rest is HERSTORY!
This is the second major accomplishment this blog has had so far (first accomplishment was starting the blog) and I wanted to dedicate a post on here to this achievement.
